First of all what the artist tells us about it. “There is no misunderstanding about what this is … a try-out oilpainting for waterdrops!”
Yes, a lot of people will think it’s all about the inside of the jeans, but their wrong! That was just something to put on the drops, to try out painting waterdrops in sizes, shapes and colours. And yes it’s a bit strange to put waterdrops on a Jeans, not even talking about the drops on the erected dingdong! But for Paul it’s normal to do things differantly and to do several things at the same time. So maybe he wanted to learn how to paint waterdrops and at the same time wanted to know if he could paint a realistic dick! No,not at all. He just saw a photo of this “filled” jeans, without drops and thought: “Oh, that’s funny, let’s paint this together with the drops!” So, it’s not always what you think the artist had in mind! Although; nobody talks about the waterdrops!
Artworks are not always serious stuff for Paul, like life. Sometimse it’s just fun or to try out something new!
